It certainly looks like a Mutt rear wheel, but that's no Mutt. DJ? Perhaps! I've never seen one without a top on it.

Don't think it's a DJ, when I had my CJ2A, I found a second one for $100.00 that had been cut just like the one pictured, the elderly gentleman said as he got older he couldn't get in it, so he cut it and didn't have to step over anything. Possibly what someone did to this one also?

I thought the same thing about the wheels. They might not be original anyway. Who knows. I wish I had taken a pic of the front grill, not it’s a normal CJ grill with 7 vertical slots & non-military headlights.

I didn’t think about the door openings being cut. That’s a real possibility. I don’t know if all DJs have right hand drive like for postal delivery, but this Jeep has normal left hand drive. It also has a manual transmission & 4 wheel drive further indicating that it may not be a DJ.
This has generated quite a bit of interest here so I will try to track down someone, possibly the owner, next spring which is the next time I’ll be out that way. In the meantime, everyone please leave me a list of questions to ask. I know I won’t think of everything.

At first I thought it was because my TJ is rather scruffy, like me. Then I wondered if it’s because I didn’t have a Hy-Lyft attached to my cowl?

Mine is the cool looking ‘06 TJ that’s all decorated for Christmas.
