Kamazan's First Jeep - TJ Extreme Sport

Heya everyone,

I recently picked up my first Jeep from a local independent small dealership. I have wanted a jeep for awhile, but never come across a "Extreme Sport" before. Is this a legit model or a random thing. I really don't know. I haven't done any mods yet, but I intend to fit Smittybilt SRC Rack, Snorkel and maybe some others. I'd love to hear some suggestions for cool add ons. I will mostly be using this for camping, but open to ideas for mods.

I also was lucky to be able to find a hardtop for it a couple of days after buying it. The hard top is ok, mostly just needs a clean.

The Jeep it's self looks tidy underneath, it runs really well and it's been well kept, currently done 93k Miles.

The Extreme Sport was not a trim level in the United States but I've seen comments on them being sold in limited quantities in the UK, New Zealand, Australia, and South Africa. It is somewhat similar to the Columbia edition sold here in 2004. Perhaps some other carmaker holds a trademark on "Columbia" in those markets?

Upgrades over the Sport would include the unique wheels, painted fender flares, upgraded speakers, upgraded upholstery, a silver center stack on the dashboard. Yours doesn't have the original bumpers. Those tube-style bumpers and side steps were likely added by a previous owner or dealership.

Good find on the hardtop. Did the connectors fit right up?

Oh nice, Thanks that's really interesting to know. I do really like the bumper and side steps that mine has. Yeah all the bolts, connectors all line up perfectly. Looks like I'm gonna need to do a some kind of conversation to get the lights, heat element and wiper working. Sadly there is no connection installed on mine. I have found a couple of useful threads here though, I might give it a try. But I am also a complete novice.

I like the bumper and steps as well. Tube bumpers are less popular here now, but they were once very popular are period correct for your Jeep.
