I missed this, but I figured the mounts would but wasn't sure about the shifter boot and whatever was in the front of the boot on the earlier models.
So I met up with @Moto Mike the other day, and he had reason to believe that "they" already decided to not plow any of the passes in the southwest... suggesting that a lot of trails may not open down there.
I was planning to explore there this August, so this is pretty disappointing.

That would be terrible; I have family in Montrose and was planning at least 2 trips out there this summer. Things change fast; we'll see what happens. Possibly the counties will decide the tax revenue from all the visitors is "essential."
I was on the west side of Owl Creek Pass 3 weeks ago and the Ranger office told me a lot of those roads are jointly managed by the county and the FS.
Seems like some government entities want the lockdown to excuse them indefinitely from providing the function they tax us for. E.g. the San Antonio Public Library remains totally closed, not even curbside service, with no indication of when to reopen. I'll be waiting on my property tax refund for the 6 weeks of lost services...
I'm hoping to take a day trip on an easy-moderate trail within a couple hours of Denver this weekend or next; I've heard Argentine or Kingston Peak are nice drives. Anyone know if they're open? Rampart Range?
Last weekend, Argentine was snowed in after Waldorf. Still a nice drive on the upper and lower roads.
Rampart is pretty much just a dirt road, there’s some nice hikes around but it’s a bigger spot for ATVs and dirt bikes.
I came across my trip plans from the April Phools ride. I had been looking into doing a round trip and going over Hayden Pass in Cotopaxi to save time instead of driving around the mountain. It looks like it's talked up as a dangerous road more than it actually is?

Don't think I've driven Hayden, but it looks and sounds like a dirt road that might be a challenge for a typical suv.

I saw that Grizzly Lake is clear. The debris field is also still clear from the previous year cleanup.
I’ll probably camp Saturday to Sunday for the chinaman run and wouldn’t mind giving this one a go if anyone else is up (hopefully I’m remembering the right trail name).
Grizzly Lake is west of Antero. I ran it for the first time last year during Jeeptober. Its up there as one of my favorite trails. Not difficult, minus the gate keeper, but the views were pretty spectacular. Unfortunately, I only have time for one trail that weekend.
Speaking of Chinaman--over on WF there are like 16 people going next weekend. Anyone up for an earlier start? That trail is long enough as is. Get that many people on there and its going to make for an awfully long day. Thats not counting other groups who will be on the trail. Chinaman has been a hot spot lately
