Larger Gas Tank

The one thing that I haven't been able to find for my TJ is a larger Gas Tank. Out here in the West while exploring it is not uncommon to go 300 Miles between gas stations. I can only go 175 Miles comfortably between gas stations. I'd appreciate any help.

Do you have a "15 gallon" tank? All gas tanks on TJ's are the same size, you can modify the vent hose on the "15 gallon" tank to allow you to use the full 19 gallons.

I can't link to other forums... but google something like "Jeep TJ gas tank mod" and a bunch of stuff will pop up. If I had done it already, I'd give a little synopsis, but I haven't.
