Leaking OME Nitrocharger shock?

I noticed a spot on the floor in my garage indicating a small leak from somewhere. I did a little investigating and it seems that it's coming from the bottom of the front driver's side shock. The color and consistency of the liquid is light yellow, and feels a little oily. I searched a bit and didn't see any leaks from any other part of the Jeep (e.g. oil plug, brakes, transfer case etc). And I didn't see any other trails of liquid--it's all just on the lower part of that shock. That said, I may have missed something.

Has anyone experienced this same thing? OME NitrochargerShocks are <2 years old. Would love any suggestions about what else to check.

No problems with mine, about the same age.

I’d pull it out and see how it functions.

Any product built by any company will eventually produce a bad part or two. Swap in some Rancho 5000x if you want a super cheap upgrade.

I reached out to ARB to see if there is any chance they are still under warranty. They are <2 years old, and <10,000 miles. Can't hurt to ask.

I also wanted to check with them that it wasn't something else. I think I'm right that it's leaking, but I wanted them to confirm that's what it would look like.

I know lots of folks on here love the Rancho RS5000x shocks. The price is almost too good to be true, but I trust the opinions on this site. If I end up having to replace my shocks, those will likely be the ones I'd get. Though I am tempted by the Fox 2.0 shocks as well. More $$$, but they seem great too.

ARB customer support rocks. I sent mail with the issue and purchase info, and they sent me a replacement shock in less than a week! If only all customer service could be this way!!

So, I guess I'll stick with these for a while.
