Hey guys,

First time poster here. I have a Shale Green Jeep LJ and am currently running 35x12.5x15r. I am looking to upgrade to the 17" stock JK rims. Does anything need to be addressed for me to be able to do this? Also, if you could drop some pictures of your jeeps with 17" stock oems I would appreciate it. Here is mine in its current state.

Agree with others your rig looks great, as-is. Stay with 15s, lots of sidewall to work with and cheaper, possibly lighter too

The aesthetic rule of thumb is wheel size should be half tire size.

15 - 31’s
16 - 32-33’s
17 - 35’s

I have 15” with 35’s. I feel like it’s too much sidewall. It gets balooney looking. It may also cause less stability off-road. 15” tires are cheaper though, and load C is easier to find. I’m heading toward 17’s though.

Aren't those 16" Moabs?

285/70/17 and Gladiator Rubicon takeoffs.

I'd kinda like a bit more sidewall but I really like these wheels and I don't want 35s, so here I am.
