Limb Risers

DON'T take those out in any kind of thick brush. (where they might actually be useful) You'll be buying and installing new fenders in short order.

Why? The ones I have bolt from the windshield frame to hood latches. Mine stopped a 10 foot commercial garage door from crashing down on my hood when the door spring broke as well as damage when wheeling.

Why? The ones I have bolt from the windshield frame to hood latches. Mine stopped a 10 foot commercial garage door from crashing down on my hood when the door spring broke as well as damage when wheeling.

The ones in the picture attach to the corners of the front fender. Over time, the fenders get pulled up and in. Occasionally, it happens all at once. TJ bodywork is tough, but it does get tweeked.

Oh, I see it now and that makes sense. Mine bolt in behind the hood latches and seem very sturdy and perform well, so I was confused.

i dont plan on putting it on my fender ill fabricate a metal sheet on the hood latch for that reason

Sorry, guess I should of taken a pic from a different angle to clarify, they are cable between the buckles, you need that for flexibility to open hood. Here's a couple more pics......

There's cheaper kits but these are the nicest I found.
