I'm Looking for comfortable front seats for my 2005 Wrangler. I have the stock seats, but there not too comfortable. Anybody have any suggestions and links. Thanks

I really enjoyed my PRP seats. Lots of people like them.

I've owned three sets of Corbeau Moab and one set of Corbeau Baja seats. I prefer the Corbeau moab as the seat back is taller and can support my back better. The Baja seats are shorter and wider. Probably better suited to husky people under 5'10"

Is there a company that makes a good padded seat cover. Most of these replacement seats are pricey. I have also read that the Pontiac Sunfire seats work in a tj also, is that true?

I have heard many liked the Hyundai Tiburon seats

I picked up a set of BMW E90 seats mint but was not impressed and dumped them back in the market. The leather and cushion was very meh

Thanks guys, appreciate the input. Some say the Pontiac Sunbird seats work. Can anyone confirm this?

The Summit seat foam has been the popular recommendation. Most people seem to really prefer it over the factory.

Yep that's the one I've used on my 05 and my brothers 06 and it really makes a big difference. Last I remember @red02tj was working on new covers.i tell every tj owner i talk to the best $100 you can spend is replacing the seat foam

Does anyone know if my front seats should recline. I just purchased it last week, but I didn't know if the seats actually recline back a little. The owner never went over it with me. It was uncomfortable driving home. 😄

did you notice the lever on the left side of the seat near the hinge? That is the usual spot for the reclining lever.

BTW, the resources section has the owners manual, service manual and parts manuals - you should download copies. You're going to need them.

I haven't seen a tj seat that didn't recline.

The 2005 reclines with the lever on the outside seat bolster down low.

The tumble feature is accessible via the lever on the outside of the seat back bolster up high.

The slide feature is a lever under the front of the seat.
