I have a 2006 Jeep LJR (manual).
After it sat this past winter I’ve been driving it around town and would notice it would randomly shut off for a split second before coming back on. I noticed the CEL flash in that moment and some of the gauges reset.
This has continued to happen at any speeds, both cold starts and fully warmed up, and sometimes more frequently than others.This has been the only issue I’m seeing as the gauges aren’t telling me anything else out of the ordinary.
Sadly there’s no codes when I checked.
I noticed when it sat during the winter, water got into the cab/dash and am concerned I’m potentially fighting an electrical gremlin behind the dash.
Some things I’ve done so far is check connections to the battery, injectors and PCM and other harnesses in the immediate area of the engine bay.
I wanted to reach out to the masses while I continue digging into the issue.
