MaxBilt vs ORO LED taillights

Anyone run the Savvy or similar lights with a Teraflex antenna mount ? or is it even possible

I'm weighing a few options. Savvy is high on the list, but we know how things have been with them recently.

One option that I really like is how Blaine sunk the stock housing up to the lense into the tub. It keeps the stock look. But I need to come to terms with chopping a big hole into the future corner armor. And I need to make sure I have room behind the shock tower after the future stretch.

I didn't take notice when I mounted my Savvy tail lights because I removed the Teraflex mounts with no intention of reusing them but this member says (in a previous thread) that he mounted the Savvys and a Teraflex mount: https://wranglertjforum.com/threads...-and-genright-corner-armor.45636/#post-781090

Did you get these? These are what I have. I think @Alex01 tipped me off to these. I think round look good. I also think stock flush look good.

ya, i like um. they are bright. also kinda like they are clear when not lit. the clear lens with the black ring looks good against the bare aluminum.

It's perfectly fine. I think I had to clearance the bracket a bit for the antenna wire, but it was an easy mod. I don't have a pic of that side, but I am using that bracket.

Last I had looked, I think the max bilt lights were out of stock. I'll have to go check on them again.

A TT is way more important than lights. Stay the course. You got this!

@jjvw This is an Optronics Glolight STL161RB although I suspect you could use STL61RB if you do not want the Glo option. You would have to fashion a rubber boot to protect the wires but this only would protrude in about 5/8.

Zeus Offroad in Minnesota still had some MaxBilt trail tails in inventory three weeks ago

Time to upgrade the Chinesium LED tail lights installed by the PO. I had to clearance them to fit with the RR Spartacus HD hinge. They aren't that bright and the reverse light is useless.

Going to go with MaxBilt Trail Tails.. The review done by Extreme Terrain shows the stock license plate holding needing clearancing.. is this true? I am happy with the stock license plate bracket and have already done license plate lights.

Someday we will sneak something MC onto your rig . My accordions didn't last long.

The only thing I have that's metal cloak on my jeep is the front fenders + blinkers , rear sway bars . kinda regretting my decision and should've went with a true high line like genright . At least I didn't go with there suspension and chose to plan for months upon and chose to do a mix of Rock Jock / Savvy stuff which is still in the stages of being bought . Hoping late summer I'll have everything all assembled and ready to show off on here and my other platforms !
