I am considering MCE as well. How long have you had these on? Have they been knocked into anything on the trail? Any tips on installation? Any product critiques you wish to share?
A few months. I did bend one a little on a rock, but if I cared more I would heat gun it and it would be fine. You can see it a little here (frontI am considering MCE as well. Installation was easy, but next time I’d go for a sawzaw instead of an angle grinder to cut the factory fender (but they both work fine). For the rears it’s just clamp them to the height you like and use self tapping screws (I did a 1/8” pilot hole). Obviously the fronts are more involved and you need to decide what to do with your blinkers and markers.
They aren’t as snug as they ought to be, and some installs I’ve seen have a little warping. I’m not sure if that’s due to the fender or the installation, however to avoid it being an issue I’d start in the middle and work out.
It’s too bad you’re across the country, I’m selling them shortly for hilines since that’s the direction my build has been heading for a while.
Since that front one is a little damaged, $150. But I’m not sure when my replacement fronts will be here from GR. I can let you know when I see shipping info. How much you thinking, id pay for shipping if it was a great deal
Are you selling front and rear or just front?Since that front one is a little damaged, $150. But I’m not sure when my replacement fronts will be here from GR. I can let you know when I see shipping info.
Can you get a replacement from MCE with their lifetime warranty? May take a while to arrive, but may make them easier to sell. I ordered a set of frots a few weeks ago, and who knows when they will arrive.Since that front one is a little damaged, $150. But I’m not sure when my replacement fronts will be here from GR.
