Midnight LJR's Affair

Well at least this thread is getting some action.

@Alex01 has only borrowed a few parts from the pile so far I think…

Well that escalated quickly…

My buddy drove it from California and had to use the rear view mirror to angle to see the passenger mirror in a snow storm packed to the ceiling.

Apparently I bought a lot more stuff than I remembered.

@Alex01 Would you like to stand up and tell the class what happened to the rear window?

Mike has shitty gas struts that do nothing and I wedged some tape between the top and the window in order to hold it open.

The window shattered into 8 million pieces with 2lbs of downward pressure without removing the tape.

But I installed the headliner prior to the jeep leaving so im sure that canceled out any additional road noise.

Now I know why there are so many rear window replacements for sale on EBay.

Good lord, that's a lot of jeep parts in one sitting! Must have been a fun drive with all that stuff rattling around.

Yeah somehow I convinced myself it would be easier to do it all at once…

I can't wait to see how many trips to the auto parts / hardware store it takes to get all the missing/needed screws, bolts, etc. Should we start a pool ;)

How many Youtube Videos are you going to watch on how this stuff is suppose to go together, I hope you don't have too many Savvy Parts because we all know how crystal clear there directions are :ROFLMAO:

All I know from my experience is that one modification leads to another modification, or that something else has be modified.

Or as AOC can say it more clearly than I can
