I would suggest going and reading up on www.troublefreepool.com. Great forum for pools, maintenance etc... a lot of great info. We just put in an inground pool that they finished up in November, and just now got to enjoy it last weekend for the first time. Although we have used the spa quite a few times though.

We have an in-ground salt water pool and love it. Much easier to maintain, I’ll say that much. As long as you keep up on maintenance I don’t think there is much to worry about.
