Meet Terrence Popp, a 30+ year Army veteran who served his country from Panama, to Desert Storm, all the way through Iraq in 2004.

Calling him a “salty” old Green Beret is an understatement.

Now he share’s his life lessons over a cold beer in front of a trusty whiteboard.

Popp’s seen his fair share of gunfights, and over the years he’s developed a list of 12 rules that will help you survive a shoot-out. We’ve provided the short list here, but you’ll want to watch the video below to take in the full effect of his particular brand of humor.

  1. Have a gun
  2. See them first
  3. Keep fire calm and accurate
  4. 2-way rifle ranges have a fun factor of zero
  5. Seek cover, preferably bulletproof cover (not your car)
  6. Running for cover is not cowardice
  7. Tracers work both ways
  8. Walk bullets up, not down
  9. They will try to flank you
  10. Dead men walk
  11. Communication is key
  12. Long fights mean a quick death
If you enjoyed Popp’s list, be sure to check out his website Redonkulas.com, but be warned, he will offend you. “Man up. Or woman up. Whatever. Put some damn pants on, quit your sniveling, stop looking for reasons to be offended (we’ll offend you, we promise) and stop being such a sissy mouth-breathing oxygen-thieving apple-ass,” he writes. “It’s all in good fun, kids. If we’re not offending you, tell us. We’ll try harder.”

He's not the hero we need, he's the hero we deserve. Also, Robin is there with a stick...
