Utah Moab in May 2025

Hi everyone that is headed to Moab in May!
I happen to have a few group wide questions:
1: is it ok to come along?
2: I happen to come across a good deal and bought a new TJ, and am selling fingers crossed 02' if anyone is, or knows if anyone who needs a TJ.
3: is anyone in talks of going out together with any open trailer spots or interested in sharing a trailer?
4: anyone grouping rooms or has gone before and knows of the easy cheap room?
5: guys this sounds like a dream trip and would really like to join?

That's why this thread is public :) But there are expectations that you know your rig and the limitations so you don't ruin everyone's day.

This sounds kind of gay

This isn't a question, but Moab is fun!

Definitely welcome, as @rasband said you’ll have to know your rig and limitations as this is just a bunch of members getting together and wheeling. Come and go as you please, join on the trails that work for you and enjoy the comradery of individuals with a common interest.

Let me know when you’re confirmed and I’ll get you added.

Last time I went none of the obstacles hand signs with their names either... And he walked up Rocker Knocker real easy too.

They had to mark things better because people are really bad at staying on the trail.

It’s changed quite a bit over they last four years I’ve been running it.

Just cause I get confused easily... Did he run it both directions? I'd always thought it was a one way trail?

He does, because the way out is a ton of added time to get back to town. He passed us the day we went in and came back out before we were even done with the trail.

Yes that long drive out is a PITA...

Yes, he ran it both ways to save from the obnoxiously long drive out.

So if we're doing GOOD we can turn around and run it both ways too?

I’d be fine with that. Seems someone typically has an issue that makes turning around not the best idea though. A rotated rear axle, one wheel drive, on a tow strap etc.

Hopefully Jeff can make it through without having to tow anyone...

I'm not making any bets on me YET...
