Initially, I bought this TJ back in 2012 as a "Toad" vehicle behind my RV... or at least that what I told the wife.

Opt'd for a slightly used Wrangler (vs a new one) because I did not want to wait for the "warranties" to expire to start mod'ing it...

Here's my little girl, before she got her make over:

My first mod to any vehicle i get is an alarm and upgrading the current sound system.

It already came with the premium sound system, but didnt have the crisp highs and the tight lows that I am very found of; so I built me a custom enclosure for an amp and sub.

Also, because I needed to protect some of my assets, I also installed a Tuffy "Full length Underseat Drawer" ( something that the wife would barely notice, hehehe)

Well.... the mods never stopped... I just kept tinkering and tinkering... and tinkering...

I needed some way to tranport my kayak and with a soft top, it was kinda hard; so I installed a Kargo Master Rack.

I also needed to beef up the bumper so I can attached a tow bar, so I changed it out. And because there was this open spot in the middle of the bumber, I thought that would be a nice place to put a winch; which I will use to pull the jeep closer to the RV before I hook it up (that's my story and I'm sticking to it).

Since space was limited, had to install an exterior cargo rack, which sat atop a Rockhard rear bumper; which also came with places to carry a jack, gas and water cans.

Also installed some Rigid D2 lights to illuminate the rear area when I back up.

Since this vehicle will be used in the back country, where communication maybe limited, I installed a CB Radio and a Ham Radio; plus I also installed a Wilson Cellular Range Extender..

But first I had to install a Tuffy Overhead Console rack...

Well... now I have an issue...

All these electronics need to be powered by something and one sears battery aint gonna cut it....

So dual Optima batteries should do the trick...

And sometimes you have to fend off the wildlife (or the drunks from the other campsite):

Where is that at? It looks like a fun place to wheel!

They are actual 2 different places; both are located west of Arnold off Hwy 4.

The first picture is called the "Gatekeeper" at the Deer Valley Trail; its the first obstacle and if you cant make it pass it, youre chilling at camp for the rest of the day. Out of 14 vehicles (13 Toyotas Tacomas/FJs and 1 Jeep) 7 made it to the top, including my TJ... The night before, everyone was ripp'n on my 3" lift and 31" tires; but after the trail, alot of them kept there mouth shut. Alot of credit goes to my Spotter , who gave me the best lines for my jeep.

The rest of the pics are from Slick Rock, which is before Deer Valley. got thru most of it okay, but got high-center on a boulder at "The Stairs"; which is at the end of the trail. In my defense, I was running open/open...

There suppose to do another club run in July, wanna come play???
