New Build 4 Wheelin'

The rest of August 2019 I installed the Dirtworx bumper and tire carrier along with the Poison Spyder bumper to frame tie ins. I added a cb antenna mount to the tire carrier.

I also fabricated an Arizona Rocky Road cb mount knock off.

Finished out the month dropping the gas tank to finish bolting up the bumper. Went ahead and cleaned up the tank skid and gave it some fresh paint.

This is looking awesome. That skid needed some love. Now it’s back in business. See ya tomorrow!

October 2019, time to upgrade the sound system, or at least the speakers. Started with Polk Audio DB522's in the dash and sound bar.

Then I installed a Sound Ordnance B-8PTD in place of the factory whatever it is. Following guidance from a how to thread on this forum I moved the tray insert from under mount to top mount and installed the remote gain in the tray. Even though it's a snug fit I still used some velcro to hold the bottom edge to the tranny hump.

Been awhile but damn I'm pissed. I've been using my tj as a daily driver for almost a month now because on 11/24 my 02 dakota was t boned by town and country doing 45 to 50 in a 20 zone. Threw my dak 48 ft with a 180 rotation, snapped the passenger rear axle shaft right at the flange. I got a failure to yield ticket and full fault according to popo. Without witnesses it's cut and dry, no other evidence no matter how factual is allowed. Other driver and car had no insurance.

I was traveling the other direction.

Never seen a drum bent like this.

Are you alright? Supposing you are since it’s the situation and carnage you’re pissed about. What a mess.
