Hey! I'm new here but not new to forums. I belong to a few other vehicle forums and enjoy learning all I can. I've had many Jeeps of various types my entire life and occasionally find a used one cheap and bring it back to road worthy.
I off-road often but rarely in my TJ. I've built a 2010 Chevy Colorado that fills that role. I mention it because its got a couple Jeep parts hidden away.
I have enjoyed owning my 2003 TJ Rubicon since new and have maintained it all myself. Its starting to show its age in a few spots so I'm digging into it more than usual.
The tub and frame are 90% rust free (inside and out) but I'm currently repairing the rear portion of the driver side torque box and plan to address some surface rust on the bottom of the floor pans. I just got done rebuilding a rusted out 2004 TJ Rubicon for a friend so I'm pretty deep into maintenance mode.
