Hello all, I'm new to the site and a new TJ owner. Not new to off-roading or wrenching on my own vehicles, but I have a couple questions specific to my jeep that I hope you guys can help with. I recently purchased a 2005 jeep TJ Rubicon that only had 58,000miles with a 4.0 and a 6 speed manual. The jeep has a lot of aftermarket parts on it currently to include a Rubicon Express long arm kit guessing a 4.5 inch lift, an atlas 2 transfer case, 34 inch tires front and rear bumpers etc etc. I'm currently going thru it fixing some previous owner sins such as bad wiring for lights and aftermarket stereo, and some shoddy welding and crappy exhaust. Overall the jeep is in great shape and drives well, but I have noticed that it has a vibration on acceleration or constant throttle. It smooths out off the throttle. After doing some research it seems that the common problem is the rear pinion angle. Common fixes seem to be dropped transfer case or SYE. Question is, is there a SYE kit for an atlas transfer case or does it need one?? Never owned a vehicle with this transfer case so I'm definitely a rookie on this!! Any help or advise would be greatly appreciated!!
