New Soft Top Flap

When I recommend Sierra offroad tops.. its only due to the price point.

I have one, and I experienced the flapping at first.. but it seemed to have subsided.
That or it caused me to have hearing loss...

Either way, the sharp flapping I heard went away.

Give it time to stretch out. It's a soft top, so it will always have some wind noise.

Sierra offroad tops are cheap tops... I wouldnt say quality. But I am satisfied with mine for the price.

This is all I was looking for. I wasn't sure if it was because it was brand new or if there was something wrong with mine. Thank you for your honesty, that is really all I wanted.

I don't mind loud/wind noise. I knew going into it it was top of the line. My old top was just leaking so I needed something asap that wouldn't leak. That's all I'm asking for!

The first time I heard that crazy high frequency flapping, overhead, I thought I made a huge mistake.

I haven't heard that crazy flapping since then... and I take it for long windy desert freeway drives.

Idk. Maybe I'm just deaf to the sound by now.

Probably not relevant but,

After I replaced my top (with a Bestop) I had a static-like noise. It was like a CB radio with no squelch. It was independent of RPM's and wind conditions but would only start somewhere after 25mph and usually stop after 45mph. Radio off? Yes. CB off? Yes. I even unplugged the right front speaker (I isolated it to the right side). Still there. I switch the header latches, it stayed on the right side. But, a few days after I switched the latches (after the switch, the driver side now latched harder than the passenger side), I took a trip on the highway, at 70mph and the windows open a bit. I've never heard the noise again.
