I suppose you support the Capitals?![]()
Not really, though I do have to watch them if out and about since living where I do (Ovi is a feckin' beast). My sports teams from childhood came from western PA.

I lived on the east coast for two brief stints (about two years each). Once in Reading, PA and once in Woodbury, CT. I disliked both experiences. Y'all are too mean over in that neck of the woods! Give me midwest nice or southern hospitality all day long...Suppose it's also a bit of remaining regional dickhead bias as I was born and raised in central PA, and I was aware of a few things from early on, mainly:
- the only decent thing about New Jersey is the coastal area south of Atlantic City. Some of the best sleepy Mid-Atlantic beach towns around.
- nothing good comes from the east...looking at you Philadelphia. The rest of the Commonwealth pays for your ignorant shit.

I'm not sure Minnesota nice exists anymore, sadly. I'm sure it still does up in Roseau, though. That was a cool place to live. You must realize the difference between Midwest and Minnesota nice.

I hope you didn't pay that for the die grinder

When I used that phrase way-back-when, I don't think the passive-aggressive tint was there, yet. Or maybe I was just obtuse. It still mostly exists but not really in the cities, it's just another way of saying passive aggressive there.
In preparation for some painting I intend to undertake this summer, and given the success of the Inokraft D1 Drizzle in refinish the hardtop last year, I snagged a Drizzle Pro gun at low tide on Amz's price cycle. Comes with base and clear coat cap/needle pairings as well as a regulator and disposable cup setup.

Many reviews note this gun doesn't put down as much material or have as wide of a fan as the D1, that would appear to be true after testing and is exactly what I was after.
I'd liken the D1 Drizzle to a Binks #7, kind of "garden hose" for paint and great for larger objects and heavier materials, especially when using the larger caps/needle. But I've got a pair of half doors to do as well as numerous other small parts and wanted something for finer work, a detail gun. Only assembled and spray tested with a cup of thinner so far, but I think the Drizzle Pro will fit the bill.
Between the pair of them, and coupled with my "it's better than an inflator" compressor setup, I don't think there are too many coatings I couldn't shoot with success (including cerakote).

What are the specs on your compressor to run that gun?
Has this new version been discussed yet? If not, it needs to be. 3485-20

One person's amazing selflessness is another's, "I'll spend stupid amounts of money to prove someone wrong", or something like that. In this case it was a gentle nudge in the right direction with a 100% painless exit strategy if it didn't work.an amazingly selfless way (thanks again, Mr. Blaine!)
Fortunately (for me), it worked! I love that thing.with a 100% painless exit strategy if it didn't work.
But is it left or right handed?
