We've been toying with the idea of picking up a Wrangler for a long time - we're only 60-90 minutes from the Silver Lake Sand Dunes here in West Michigan. My wife's family has vacationed there since before she was born, and we've continued that tradition and passed it on to our kids.
This year, you might have noticed that a little bit of a pandemic has changed all of our plans - in in our case, that meant cancellation of our spring break trip to Florida and a mission trip to New Mexico. So...what better to do with all of that refunded travel money that buy a project!
So, we picked up an 01 TJ. It'll need some frame & body mount repair. The body itself is pretty solid, though. It's got the 4.0 with a 5 speed, on 33's with a 4" lift.
Up until now, our toys have been motorcycles or quads. I typically don't do much on cars & trucks beyond brakes and oil changes...so I'm going to have to rely on y'all here to help me along the way.
