From what I am told, most TJ's came with only isolators on the top of the front and rear springs. The fronts are ~3/4" thick and the rears are thinner (more like rubber sheet material). OK to run without either? I understand the impact on height, but wondering it there is any other reason to use them? Noise? Ride Quality?

Thanks

I think the isolators isolate vibrations. I'm sure you could run springs without them. There is no mechanical danger. It might allow more vibrations to transfer to the frame and then to the tub. I'd stick a spacer in there at least.

Mine hasn't had the rear isolators for over a year. I never noticed a difference. Next time I have reason to remove the rear coils, I might put them back in just to get them off the shelf.
