It seems like over time the fractional movements of that sway bar could rub through the filler neck and vent tube, no?

I had that concern also. I so consulted with an authority on the matter and he assured me that my concerns were unfounded. I am more likely to see an issue from sheer vibration than from sway bar movement. I will of coarse keep an eye on it as part of my routine maintenance and inspections.

If the concern ever progressed to the level of doing anything about it, a piece of hose split and slid over the swaybar would slow it down to less of a concern.

You have different considerations due to more room in front of the axle. It is very difficult to keep the tire off of the swaybar arm mounted in front on a TJ. Not impossible, but much more difficult. Rigs like yours are by far the easiest to do.
