"Pacing myself" build

Thought this was build thread worthy, so thought I'd post up what I was up to today.
Today's project was to fix my screw up with the rear lower shock mounts. Pulled the rear springs/shocks, let er droop and measured for where to clearance the spring perch. Sparks flew.

Full bump
View attachment 29515 Got about 0.5" of shock travel left at full bump, so good there.

This was my limiter at bull bump. Damn rear track bar relocation bracket hitting the tub.

Both sides dropped to full bump. Tire clearance good.

Full flex, a bit of rub on the outer edge of the flare.

All in all, not terrible, but some adjustments will be needed. I added another 3/8" of bump stop extension to the upper cup. I need to add another 3/8" to the bottom for a total of 2" of rear bump stop extension.
The body lift has reared its ugly head, but I think I can get away with the Rokmen 0.5" body lift, so just a small butt crack @JMT.
Crack is crack, unless it’s cleavage.

Really, congrats brah, a good find. 0.5” really limits the crack

I'd like to compile a list of good quality(respected) coil springs in the 2" to 3" lift height. I would prefer to get 3" springs and lose the spacers unless I need to level the front. My fear with 3" coil springs is getting more than advertised left height. Also, should I go linear or progressive rate. My OME's are linear I believe, and I like how they ride, but I also tow a trailer on occasion, so should I try progressive?

Not much talk about Rancho's springs. We all seem to like their RS5000X/RS9000XL shocks.

A lot of the 3" spring offerings suggest 3" - 4.5" of lift. That make me nervous with my jeep being in the lighter realm. Any other choices I'm forgetting?

Epic fail Jimbo! Measure the front springs as it sits level at ride height when you get the chance. Thanks.

Looks to be right at 14.5” if my measurements are correct:

Thanks Jimbo. I'll measure mine again tomorrow. If we go by the precept that stock front coil height is 12", this means you're netting 2.5" of lift.

This tells me that my 2" lift springs have sagged 0.5" over the years, and that your new springs only net you 2.5" of lift. You may have lost 0.5" due to the weight of your winch?
