"Pacing myself" build

Yes they were....I'm assuming they are their shocks. No name on them.

Allen @AOR will probably have the best prices on them right now. He's a supporting vendor on this forum. I sure do like spending your money LR, lol!

Is the RS5000X the same as the 5000X?

Yes, just make sure it has the "X" at the end. Rancho makes a RS5000(fist gen shock) that isn't valved right for our TJ's.

I think these are the part #'s you need, but verify that with your vendor of choice.

RS55255.....Front

RS55256.....Rear

Those are for a 4" lift. RS55239/241 for a 2.5" and RS555128/240 for the 0-2"

Well, I had delusions of grandeur yesterday. On the list of to do's was valve cover gasket, spark plugs, oil change, and tire rotation. The valve cover gasket part took me way longer than it should have. Kept fighting the wiring harness at the firewall, then lost one of the torque limiter washers, so what should have taken a couple hours tops, took me 4 hrs. Word of advice to those that want to replace this gasket. Try to remove all the grommets and torque limiter washesr before pulling the cover off so they don't end up in the trans tunnel out of reach. I'm wondering if I would have unbolted the trany mount and raised the drivetrain up if it would have given me more room at the back. Those 2 bolts back there were challenging to get to. Didn't get to the spark plug replacement or tire rotation. I was sore, tired, and fed up, but got it replaced and the oil changed.
