"Pacing myself" build

Looking good man, I really love what you've done with it so far. What size tires / lift did you end up putting on instead of the 2.5"?
Well, fast forwarding a bit, I still have the OME 2.5 lift on but added 3/4" coil spacers all around and bumpstopped a bit more for bigger tires.

Received a gift from a fellow jeeper(thanks Lowranger), in the form of a Midland 520XL CB. mounted it behind the center console. Now I needed a place to mount a Firestick, so I fabbed up a bracket for a tail light mount.

Time rolled on, jeep trips were had, and the 31's were about worn out. Falling into the bigger is better trap, I decided to up it to 32's. Pacing myself here ya know. I wanted to try Goodyear's MTR's this time around, but the size I wanted was on factory backorder with no production in sight, so I decided to try Cooper's STT mud terrains. I had new wheels tucked away for some time waiting to get new rubber.

Decided to change my direction on control arm choice. Not because my Currie arms weren't performing, they were going strong. Metal Cloak was close by, and could save on shipping, so I purchased front uppers next. Still rocked the Currie lowers.

Since installing the 32's I noticed my brakes were lacking, so a call to BMB's for some magical pads and Centric rotors were purchased. The change was amazing! Felt much more comfortable stopping. Highly recommend this setup. Sorry, no pics on the install.

I just wasn't a fan of my Warrior side steps/rockers. Just didn't look right to me, so I sold them and picked up some Rugged Ridge rockers. Still had the build in step lip to satisfy the wife and looked better IMO.

Had a little issue with one of me JJ's. Think I over greased it, so no fault of the joint. Pushing 30k miles on them, so I can't complain. A little thinking, and a vise, good as new.

Well, more wheeling, more daily driving, and the Coopers were ready to go. I was not impressed with their performance. I barely got 25K miles out of them, and they were noisy as heck. Hope they change the compound with their newer STT Pro. I decided to go back to BFG and pick up some KM2's in the 33x1050x15 pizza cutter flavor. Yep, bigger, right! This will be the biggest tire I put on my jeep in the foreseeable future as long as it stay a DD. Checking bumps....

This is pretty much how my jeep sits to date...

With the 33's and my 5speed and 3.73's, I felt like I was starting off in 2nd gear from stops, and 5th gear was pretty much useless, so it was time for a re-gear. Why didn't I stay with 31's, ugh! I went with 4.56's. I had a big trip to Moab planned, so I was under the gun to get the gears done. My boss helped me out. He has done several re-gears and had all the special tools and know how, so we got it done. I have pics, but they are on my work computer and I'm laid up at home after a minor knee surgery, so I'll post those later.
