"Pacing myself" build

@bobthetj03,

Front measures 14 1/2” including 10mm spacer, not including coil spring isolator.
Rear measures 10 7/8” including 10 mm spacer, not including coil spring isolator.

Here’s a pic of the front.

Thanks for your contribution @JMT. This confirms my 0.5" spring sag. Now to figure out which springs to go with.

We would have a pretty good compilation of different spring companies with @JamesAndTheSahara on Currie's, @JMT on fresh OME's, @Jay P on BDS, and maybe me on JKS's. Me likey!
No doubt. That would set a good standard for evaluating springs and giving advice. As a guy who likes statistical analysis, me likey too!

just a note...JKS and BDS are both part of the same company. Don't know if they share spring technology, but they might. I was pretty close to pulling the trigger on the full J-Spec TJ lift.

The parent company is Sport Truck USA, Inc. They also make Zone. They are based in Coldwater, MI (about 2.5 hours away from me). I contemplated applying for a job there...

Alrighty then. Would be intriguing to know if BDS and JKS are tooled differently. Personally, I'd be ok with either brand.

Please go Jspec hahaha. I only say that because need to have a show down of all the big lift kits head to head. It would be the best forum thread to date ;).

Go with whichever floats your boat!

I have no problem trying the JKS springs. Just need to cough up the coin.

Hmmm. They look like Metal Cloaks silly design. Having second thoughts now. Might look into BDS's option.
