PCM connectors

So I found all this out this morning before I left for work today. The pictures are as far as I had time for today but I'm assuming the barrel connectors require a tool that pushes in the retainers so you can remove them from the back side of the connector body.... Is that right?

If you look at the pins sticking out, you will see there are 2 black tabs holding them in. To properly remove them you would use a tool like this from the backside of the connector. However, since you are replacing the connector, just use a small pick or pocket screwdriver and pry them or break them off.

Awesome..... Thanks

They are color coded and are all the same for all Jtec PCMs.

White s2340
Black s2312
Grey s2314

If I was a betting man, when you open the standard motor parts box you will find a mopar bag inside.

Lou, any chance you know the mate part # to those?

If he does not I’m pretty sure wrangler fix has a pretty good stash- But the main reason I posted was to ask where have you been brother?!

Can't remember how much you already know, but after the unqualified new management at my old job started swearing at me and (they) rage quit meetings and blamed problems on me that never existed for the 15 years prior to them joining 🤯, I decided to start on a new path that I could control. So I've become a YouTuber over the last year and it's starting to gain traction! 😃 Really the only thing that'd make me happier is working on my Jeep, so that's what I'm doing.

Holy Cow. Good for you. Life is too short to work with idiots.

I mean, my contract states that I can't call them idiots for a few more years, but if that's what you want to call them I won't argue. 🤣

Idiots, idiot, idiots.....

The last I checked I don’t have a contract.

True story- David Carradine did not have the contract details ever established win the television series Kung Fu started.

The show was a success. So they just kept going.

One day something came up and they told him his contract would not allow it....He laughed and told them “we don’t have a contract”.

One more- If you bought an iPhone every time they came out you would have spent $20,600 today.

If you spent the same money at the same time, on Apple stock, today it would be worth over 200 million.

I highly doubt a mate to connector ever existed outside of the pcb mounted ones that are on the pcm itself. What are you after the mating connector for?
