PLEASE HELP! diagnosing whining/scream noise when start up and accelerating

please listen to these videos. i have taken it to the mechanic twice snd they have replaced the belts and pulleys and the noise is still there and they can’t find anything wrong. it won’t let me attach the videos so the first video in the link is when it starts up and the second is during acceleration. We need more information, such as year/engine/transmission, how many miles, how long have you owned it, has it always made this noise, from where does the sound seem to come when it's being started (under the jeep, under the hood, inside, etc), does the sound eventually go away, does everything operate as it should (steering/brakes/heat & a/c/), other than what was previously mentioned, what other work or changes have been done recently. I listened to the sounds, but I don't know what to compare with until we have more information.

Top places I would look; alternator, power steering pump, AC compressor, harmonic balancer.

I can't get to your videos, but you could try removing the belt & starting it up to see if you have the same problem. If you don't you know it's related to one or more driven accessories.

might be the idler pulley. try spraying it's bolt and bearing with wd40 and see if that fixes it. if not i would spray other pulleys 1 at a time until you find it. if it didnt quit so fast you could just spray them until you found which one it is...

i would remove the belt and see if the noise goes away.
and... being that it is an 06 I would also want to rule out the OPD.

Rest your hand on top of the OPDA and have someone start it.

First thing I would check is that the belt is routed correct, it can be routed wrong and still work.
