POV Lighting

Hi, I'm a firefighter and my daily driver is a 2001 sport. My job requires me to have emergency lighting on my vehicle, no big deal, but where on earth are there good locations? Any firemen on here with lighting ideas?

Dash lights are hard because of how flat the windshield is and wouldn't allow me to use the defroster, windshield banner doesn't help with visor lights, soft to doesn't help with rear window, etc.

I am not a fireman but I have many years of pushing cop cars around in the emergency mode. First, those lights only request priority from other mortorist---you can demand it all you want but that will never work.

Take a look at the trucks. Their lighting is high and bright. You want to been seen from any angle no matter which way you turn. So right in the middle of your top.

I also know without a doubt that driving an emergency vehicle with dash mounted red and blues is terrifying!!!

What about a windshield mounted light bar bracket with emergency lights in place of a light bar (or in conjunction with a light bar)?

Where are you located at they have lights that will mount on the a pillars and also how many lights do you want alley strobe take downs and are you planning on a scriren as well

Punctuation really helps people understand what is writren.

Your greatest threat in EVO driving will come from your sides. A straight forward facing light bar does nothing to address that threat. However, when all is said and done you still must drive that vehicle like the rest of he motorists are trying to kill you! In this case I am an expert!

This ^^^ even with emergency lights you never own the right of way. A bit of context will help. Like where do you live. Me, I'm curious which states allow emergency lights on a private vehicle. Here in Canada Red/Blue are strictly for Fire/Police/Ambulance. Any other vehicle only gets to use Amber Lights.

But the best location... on the roof.
