Power steering issue

I have recently replaced as of today my power steering pressure hose. It has been leaking badly. I have cycled out the old fluid in the pump and gear box. Its now installed and I cycled the new fluid with the new line maybe 6 Times? As of right now my steering is super stiff. Neither the pump or gear box is whining. I'd like to get some feed back as to what the issue is.

How does the fluid look. If frothy, it may still have air in it.

Fluid is full. When I cycled the fluid at the start, it dropped down. I topped it off and it's still holding up.

And everything was OK before? Other than the leak. You did just a straight swap of the leaking hose?

That is correct. Just a swap of the pressure hose.

Sounds like air still trapped somewhere in the system. I followed @Chris "How to" when I replaced my pump and it worked perfectly.

I'm thinking I'll need to replace my Power steering pump and I've searched all over for this write up but its not coming up. Did it get deleted or something?

If I end up replacing the pump perhaps I'll try to document my process for others on here.
