Rear hardtop glass is easy. Four bolts. Easiest with two people. I think the cost of replacement glass is high.

Thank you guys for the help. I found the correct size strut for the top. The hardtop I bought is an aftermarket one made by Smittybilt. For anyone that ever is having same issue, amazon sells them but just doesn't list as option for tjs

I just followed what what the struts said that I originally had they are 17in" and 40lbs which is what the Smittybilt struts came with.

you recommend to install the glass while its on the jeep or it doesn't matter
I've only done it once but it should not matter. I had my son hold the rear glass in place while I installed the four bolts.
