I'm slowly fixing up my newly purchased fun buggy. Just spent a bunch of miserable time underneath removing rust and re painting. I luckily landed a replacement mechanical front diff locker cable for the OX diff. The one that came with the TJ was fried in half from laying on the exhaust manifold. The installer used plastic/nylon zip ties that didn't hold... Anyways, the cable was routed all the way around the front spring through a mess of moving steering, sat on top of the upper ball joint and showed tire wear on the housing there as well. My question is will the cable handle the tight 90 degree turn radius if I turn it rearward between the housing and the front coil spring?? Hope I made sense, replies and help is greatly appreciated. I did several searches within this forum and others and struck out. PS-— I need to post some fresh paint pics, looks so much better.
