Hi guys! New to the forums, my partner and I are looking for our first Jeep and we've found a TJ we really like. But I've heard a lot of rusty horror stories and have a lot of experience wrenching in and dealing with rust on my '96 Civic.
I'm going off of some limited pictures here and just looking for some advice
It looks like the frame has been repaired on this one before, but only the middle section - there's some frame rust on the very end that holds up the rear bumper. We're in a position to buy now and think about replacing the frame in a couple of years, but without knowing what's going on under those repairs - which look great from the outside, mind you - do we need to be worried about this thing snapping in half?
