Salvage AC questions

Tomorrow I'm planing on heading up to Houston to see if I can find a a.c. system. I bought my Tj without one about 3 months ago, but summer is beginningto show it's heat. Any advice on anything or year/model compatibility. Thx

Because you have a 98. Unless you are going to attempt a dial conversion. You should stick to a 98 or 97.

Im not sure what year they moved the compressor.

97-99 would be compatible.

Possibly some. Go to Rock Auto, click on the part category and when you see the options, click on the blue part number. That will pop up a buyer's guide that shows other vehicles that the part fits.

The 99 model uses dials and electronic blend door. The wiring harness will need to be modified to allow its use.
