Hey guys - I posted this thread about a month ago and since then I've done a bunch of research and started accumulating parts. I've now decided to go for 33" tires (and all that goes along with that). So far I have purchased the following:
  • 2" JKS springs
  • 1.25" Savvy Body Lift
  • Rancho shocks and steering stabilizer
  • Crown ZJ steering upgrade
  • JKS swaybar disconnects
  • 2" bump stop extensions
  • 33x10.50 tires
  • Ultra 5051 wheels with 3.75" backspacing
  • 3/4" spring spacer to level out the ride
My question is what's left that I NEED to have, vs things that maybe aren't really necessary. Remaining items that I have on the list are:
  • Adjustable front track bar (required?)
  • Adjustable rear track bar (required?)
  • Rear track bar bracket (is this still needed if I install an adjustable rear track bar?)
  • Adjustable control arms (which ones, if any are needed for this lift?)
  • Motor Mount Lift (is this critical with the body lift - sounds like it might be)
Am I missing anything here? I have not yet installed anything - I'd like to make sure I have everything I need before I dig in. So I will install all of this and then pray that I don't get any steering vibrations. If so, I guess I'll be installing the SYE and replacing the drive shaft. After that, I will have the gearing (4.56 or 4.88), e-lockers, and axle work (super 35) done at a local shop.

My question is what's left that I NEED to have, vs things that maybe aren't really necessary. Remaining items that I have on the list are:
  • Adjustable front track bar (required?) - No, but it might help if your front axle is much over to the driver side. Lift and see.
  • Adjustable rear track bar (required?) - No
  • Rear track bar bracket (is this still needed if I install an adjustable rear track bar?) - A bracket would help center the axle and is pretty low cost. I would.
  • Adjustable control arms (which ones, if any are needed for this lift?) - Probably not. Check your caster angle and if less than 5 degrees you'll get better steering with some adjustable front lowers about 1/2" longer than stock.

Comments inline - I think you've thought it out thoroughly.

Only thing I didn't see was the speedometer gear for your new tire and gear combo. You'll probably want that as the speedo and odometer readings can end up pretty far out of whack after that change. And they aren't very expensive.

You and I have similar goals for our builds. I believe conventional wisdom around here is that for 33s you should be aiming for 3" of suspension lift. I've got a set of Currie 3" springs on the shelf while I save for adjustable control arms.
