Setting up Rockjock bump stops

Installed some Rockjock bump stops with some new springs and it occurs to me that all my existing bump stop knowledge is based on having the steel cup and a foamy jounce bumper and not directly applicable to a set that's mostly polyurethane.

How much compression of the poly should I plan for before shocks bottom or other points of hard contact?

As is, the poly stops meet with about 3/4" left of shock shaft showing, but I'm gonna have to get longer shocks in the rear because with my new Rockjock rear springs and Rancho RS55256 I'm sitting at 3.7 down and I'd like to get that back up to about 5.

I set mine based on 1" compression of the bumpstops. Quite a few have used 3/4". Up front you can just pull the 1" aluminum puck. In the rear you need to get a little more creative.

Yeah I'm good in the front if 3/4" is good. I'm gonna need more in the rear though if I get longer shocks to balance my travel. The ones I'm looking at will be bottoming right as the poly touches. I have some aluminum pucks that might be 1/2" or 3/4" but I'll need longer bolts.
