Shift Knob Adapters

I've been looking for some shifter knob adapters to go from my m10x1.5 to various sizes as I would like to change the knob now & then
m12x1.25 (or m12x1.75) even to a m16x1.50
Seems all can find have a m16x1.50 inner diameter thread pitch.
Yes I looked on Amazon and didn't find anything.

I bought my new shift knob from sick speed. They also sell all the different adapters.

Bought new knobs for t-case and tranny from Sick Speed. Shift rod for t-case through eBay. Seller is rodslama but don’t think he has listing up right now.

If you want black with yellow lettering for t-case let me know. Had Sick Speed make one to include 2lo so will make deal on one with stock shift pattern.

I picked up a heavy weight know and adapter from these guys. Amazing quality, and they have all sorts of adapters. You can see the adapter in the picture below, on the right, which is what I purchased (not for the Jeep).

How difficult/easy was it installing the transfer case knob?

The knob is easy, just screw it on. Of course only after you have changed out the shift rod. Sorry for crappy pic as is screen shot of closed eBay ad from my purchases list. Not sure how often the guy lists them. From other threads on here some people have had to adjust the rod a bit during install. Mine had no issues after getting linkage under Jeep adjusted. That part is easier if have cable shifter.

So overall easy if you can get or make the shift rod.

I ran across all kinds of thread addapters on ebay when I was looking for shifter knobs. Might wanna check there.

Another (perhaps less popular) option is to re-thread the shift lever end to accommodate your shifter knob. That's what *I* did to install my vintage Hurst 5 speed shifter ball in my Jeep - I've had that knob since ~1995 - it's been in my '62 Corvette that I installed a Doug Nash 5 speed in, my '65 GTO that I installed a Doug Nash 5 speed in, and 4 of my 5 Wranglers:

Mine is a solid piece of aluminum. Even after a half hour drive to work I still have to wear gloves to keep my hand from freezing.
