Hi and thanks in advance

My daughter and I co-own a 2005 TJ (4.0 and Auto) which has had a shudder under braking since we bought it a year or so ago.

We have had the brake rotors, fluid and pads replaced and recently the entire front and rear axles rebuilt (inc new gears for bigger tyres we have yet to fit).

It's had new springs and shocks (Falcons)

It has had an wheel alignment but that's made no difference

Under braking we get a shudder you can feel through the steering wheel and brake pedal but if you let go of the wheel it pulls up straight although the wheel vibrates visibly.

I'm thinking it could be suspension component related? LCA bushes, UCA bushes etc etc but wanted to see if anyone has any light bulb moments to save me pulling it to pieces for no noticeable gain.

When I cracked a lower front control mount, my TJ had these same symptoms. I couldn't tell the mount had cracked by looking at it, had to have a local 4x4 shop diagnose it. Replaced both sides with beefier mounts than OEM and shudder disappeared.
