Smoked Tail Lights

Well one of those little things I can't seem to find what I want. Looking for smoked tail lights like my front clearance lights. The first set I bought I'm sending back they have studs instead of trough bolts. Below is what my fronts look like. Looked at the Quadratecs but none are smoked or direct plug in. I guess I could and would cut and splice the old connector to the new lights. Anyways y'all are golden on these things.

Yes please. Most "smoked" lights are dim - I don't see the point myself.

I like the look of appearing black. No point specifically just aesthetics.

Not sure about this but I'll look it up here. Good question though if I am willing to take that risk. The whole don't break the law when your breaking the law thing.

ORO LightDOTs (or one of the knockoffs) have a black housing and don't use a red diffuser IIRC.

IIRC, the light visibility is part of the requirement, but you also lose the required reflector performance.

They don't have to be huge to be compliant, I think the two they use on the JL's may be around 1.5" square mounted down on the bumper.

Reflectors are on the cover and side marker.

The one that just drives me bat scat crazy is lose vs loose. That's even worse than break/brake. I see loose/lose all the time, WTF?
