Soft top zipper trick

Before you grab the pliers and end up damaging a zipper , try this -

Take a good size zip tie , loop it through the zipper pull and cinch it big enough to get 3 fingers in ... it will give you enough pull to get it zipped , and if it breaks , you need a warmer day or better fit possibly.

If you like it , you can super glue the zip tie in position and trim the excess.

It made a big difference on my Trektop NX rear zippers , which tend to be difficult.

Cool. I was thinking some little carabiners...or some Paracord would help..a little grip makes a difference .

I waxxed the zippers. Doesn't help get them connected, but they're a lot easier to pull once you get them started.

One of the instructions I was reading said to keep it unhooked at the bottom until the zippers are already started. Then pull the top down & hook the edge in place.

Those would work just as well, even paracord.

The zippers are only hard to close because you can't get enough leverage on them with that tiny little zipper
