Spare or no spare?

Yep....looks rugged, like a Jeep.

To each their own. I like the fact everyone does what they want to their vehicles as that is what it is all about. I prefer the Jeep entering Germany. The Jeep looks rugged enough, so no need for the bigfoot look. I could run 35's with the lift that came on my Jeep, but going down to a 2" lift and maybe no spare. I guess I like a much smaller Jeep look and not into the huge SUV look. Also not a fan of newer Jeeps. They lost their sporty appeal like that Jeep entering Germany had. The TJ is the last size that still is okay IMHO. Of course these are all just personal tastes and with all the huge SUVs everywhere I am probably in the minority liking smaller vehicles that look like they could fit between trees on a small trail.

I was thinking about this and I am not sure about the spare on the back of a Wrangler. I think the picture you posted looks right. I don't think a huge 33 or even worse a 35 on the back does however. Mine came with a 33 on the back and I think it looks stupid. It is too big. I am not sure what I am going to do about a spare yet, but I won't have one if I am running 33's I don't think. Here is a picture. View attachment 31812
Soooo you think if its too big it may look something like this ...? lol

My jeep came with 35s and 17s with a stock spare on the back. It drives me crazy but I ordered my new bumper with tire carrier on it to accommodate getting me a matching spare. Makes me cringe every time I see it.

Problem with running no spare and no rack is all the open bolt holes that get left behind. Just screams something is missing.
Im with you. Several brands offer tag relocation kits that take up the tailgate area tjat is normally reserved for the spare. But this also deletes the stock tag location and then you will have holes there too...:risas3:

With. I spent a while driving without it while I waited for an exogate so I could accommodate a 33” and it looked instantly better once it was back on.
