Before getting beat up on, these were included in a big groups of parts I bought cheaply. They were brand new EBC Green stuff pads. After about 150 miles, they started squealing very loudly, when applying the brakes. Any suggestions on how to quiet them down, besides removing and replacing? FWIW, I've heard these are prone to making noise.

Did you replace the rotors or did you just do a pad slap?

I ran the greens on a couple of my vehicles. They were noisy A/F, even after following the correct break in procedure.

Replaced rotors at the same time.

So far Never had any noise issues with ebc pads. Did you install them dry or with a little brake lube.

Used a little brake grease.

I had those on the rear of my Skyline with no issues. I tend to slather pads real good with the brake lube though. Do they come with their own shims?
