Edit: It's a 2004 4.0 automatic
I've got a loud squealing sound that just started today when accelerating, I did some research but I'm not really sure on the culprit. Many posts said drive shaft if it doesn't make the sound when in neutral, but my Jeep definitely does. If the revs are up past idle, it squeals, parked or not.
Fluids all look okay, but I'm going to recheck in the morning since I checked when the engine was still hot when I got home after hearing it. I know I could use an oil change, though.
I was thinking maybe it's the OPDA issue? I'm not entirely sure but I'll upload an audio clip in the morning as soon as I get the chance and I'll reply back here with it.
Any thoughts or ideas of what to look for?
Hopefully sometime soon I won't be posting these "I've got a problem" threads and be able to post pictures of the finished/fixed Jeep!
