Hello all,
I'm Sage and I am from the PNW, and I am the happy owner of this pile. I purchased this 99 Sport mostly stock, at 18yo for way too much from a family member who had bought it new. Unfortunately I don't have any photos from then. I didn't even know what wheeling was just wanted a Jeep. Also I had no idea what was getting into... This all changed when I met some guys at my then, welding job who were way too into wheeling...I guess I picked up this up as well and have been wheeling with the same group for 12 years. This has been an on going project since then, and everything I have done has been gradual, so I could keep wheeling. Basic specs on the Jeep our as follows:

Engine 4.0
Trans 32rh
T-case Atlas 4 speed
Wheelbase 103"
Tire size 37" km3s
Lift 2.5"
Width 76"
Height 72.5"

Have always wanted to stretch my wrangler but was undecided on which way I was going to go about it. Not sure if the route I went was advantageous or not, but I had access to a press brake and decided to do it my way. I was able to make sleeves and channels to match the frame dimensions and stretched the frame 9" in total. 6 in rear 3 in front. You don't see the addition of fish plates in the picture, but they were added. Stretching the frame the way I did allows me to keep my axel centered under the frame arches. Overall I didn't run into too many unforeseen issues and I am happy with results.

Honestly, this custom aluminum fuel cell I made was by far my favorite part of the project! It had been many years since I made something out of aluminum. Capacity came out to about 15gal, and uses stock Jeep pickup. No leaks and works like a charm.

Decided it was time for a cage...This is about 2 years after the stretch, as told by the worn paint...

Rocks Rocks Rocks. Ignore the Dana 30 and short control arms lol. Got a plan, and most of the parts for 4 linked tons in the works. Maybe in another post...

Yep, I know Royal City, worked in that area quite a bit when I lived over there.

Its grown quite a bit since we lived there in the very early 60s, or when we went back in the very early 80s. There was just a General Store/gas station, a bar, a couple or three houses, and a trailer court where we lived. My father worked on the nearby missile base. Now there's a pile of houses, with more being built and they even have their own high school!

Welcome from the West Side!

I was over in Moses Lake for 3 years for work but then took a transfer west.

Sweet build so far👍🏼

Appreciate it!
We need another source for quality aluminum Jeep parts and I'd love one here in the PNW.

Ought to consider making parts.

I've thought about it quite a bit.
