Stripes or no stripes?

I like it. It gives it kind of a CJ look.
Except, I would lose the "WRANGLER," "4.0L," and the "Sport" decals. The smaller font does not look right with the wider stripes, in my opinion.
Here is a photo of my 1998 TJ with similar - but thinner - stripes:
I just got my Jeep re-painted, and I am thinking about doing the tri-color stripes on mine as well, starting with charcoal at the top, to medium gray, and then finally to silver to go along with the stock silver decals.

I like the stripes and aluminum wheels, although I prefer the "shingles" look.

The contractor wasn't licensed and the paint was peeling off the shingles.
