Assuming you want this for theft prevention?
Here's an idea - a cheap and easy workaround - that I have thought about trying. (Still have not done it...)
All of my vehicles have this kind of quick-release connector on the
negative terminal:
If I leave the vehicle parked for more than a couple of days, I always remove the negative terminal to prevent battery drain with all of the modern crap on vehicles. I have, more than once, gone to start a vehicle after an extended period of sitting only to find a drained battery.
These come in pairs - one red and one black, of course - and I use the red one if the black one is already in use. For this trick, I could use the red as the actual negative clamp and use the black one as the decoy.
I have though about setting up a dummy terminal clamp that I could leave on the battery to look like it was connected. It would have the cable coming off of it and going down behind the battery. The actual negative terminal clamp would be disconnected and hidden behind or beneath the battery. Anything but a careful inspection would give the appearance of being hooked up. Not entirely fool-proof, but maybe enough.
It's what, down here, we'd call a
mexicanada.

A well hidden kill switch would be easier for you to engage as opposed to going under the hood, and harder to bypass, but this way I figure most people would just take a look and think that it just won't start, so not worth the trouble. Most thieves are thieves because they are stupid and lazy, right?
