Temp / Compass Mirror Help?

Hey Guys,
I have a 2006 Rubicon Unlimited I've owned since '08 (wouldn't sell it for the world!).
Unfortunately, I got rear-ended - damage was minimal but now my compass/temp on the mirror is having issues. It will come on about once a month (literally) when it does, it still shows direction correctly & temp is right. It will work until I turn the ign key off, then when I restart it's like there is no power to the mirror. Knowing no more than this, where would you start to diagnose

Check the wiring might be loose or frayed

I had the same issue but it was only the wiring harness lost connection

Well ya first thing I did after seeing how the factory wiring was done, I 'jiggled' the harness several different ways several different times. Also unplugged the harness at the mirror. No Bueno.
