That RMS leak opinion question

I'm a former loyal Valvoline user too and really liked it but I switched to Pennzoil without regret after Valvoline stopped making the conventional High Mileage. Any of the major brands of oils are fine, I'd use Walmart/NAPA/etc. brand conventional High Mileage engine oils without a second thought if I couldn't find Pennzoil.
Napa is Valvoline and I use it quite a bit. They typically have decent sales on the napa brand oil. It looks like they have a conventional High Mileage too. Box even says developed by Valvoline.

The only Pennzoil High Mileage I can find, even on their website, is a synthetic blend. Been looking for awhile. Thought the stuff Home depot carried was conventional, Yellow bottle with red label, but it is a Synthetic blend. Thought about trying O'reilly's house brand, of course they want almost as much for it as a full synthetic.

Unfortunately that 5qt of 10w-30 high mileage conventional costs as much as their Valvoline full synthetic or I would absolutely hop on that. But I think $31 for 5qt of dino oil is pretty steep. I had to do a double take on Napas website lol I first thought they were offering 10qt for $30

Have to wait for their perpetual sales they usually run unfortunately

I've tried nearly all of the stop leak products, all had the same results.
I'm not buying any more magic beans.
I'm spending that $$ on cat litter for my drip tray.

The real reason I won't bother fixing it is because the engine is currently at 176K and the cost to ATTEMPT the repair isn't justified.
I know that I'll break studs and/or exhaust parts pulling the original stuff apart, so that will add an unknown (and for now, unnecessary), expense.

When/if I ever have to replace the exhaust, and/or the oil pan gasket, THEN I'll worry about the RMS leak... Until then, it's just an inconvenience.

Had a bit of a rear main seal seep. Went to High Mileage synthetic 5W30 oil and it stopped. It's not the synthetic vs non synthetic that matters but the high mileage oil. High mileage oils put some seal swelling additives in the oil. That's what does the trick.

Recently I noticed a few drips under the engine again and they were more than before. Got underneath it and noticed some leaks on the sides of the oil pan. Oil pan bolts were not fully tight....not loose....just not tight. Snugged them all down and all oil leaks appear to be gone.

Went 6 years. I’m trying to fix it this week.

I have 2-mopar RMS and fel pro pan gasket, anaerobic sealer in the pile of parts for my transmission swap. I plan to do the RMS at the same time.
I would love to see what pattern you use on the bearing cap with the sealer.
I hate doing rear main seals almost as much as I hate the smell of burning oil under the Jeep.

Before going to all the trouble of replacing the RMS have you tried switching to a High Mileage conventional 10W-30 yet? As above doing that cured a major RMS leak I had years ago.

Yes I have with no luck. Although I haven’t checked the pan bolts for looseness. I have changed the valve cover gasket.I ended up picking up penzol conventional high mileage at Orileys. Crap is $$$&$
